Isle of Tease Burlesque Festival is a celebration of burlesque and all that makes this art form so magical. ITBF strives to celebrate and uplift Indigenous artists, performers of colour, artists of all ages, sizes and body types, 2SLGBTQ+, and many more artists from a wide range of backgrounds.

We are looking for applications for our February 26-28, 2026 festival located in Victoria, BC.
Give us your dazzling solos, sensual duets, or tantalizing large group acts. We want to see it all!

- Free period for marginalized performers September 13 – September 19
- Applications close October 11 at midnight PST
The application fee is $10 CAD and can be sent via PayPal to isleoftease@gmail.com at the time of submission.

Where is the festival held?
The Isle of Tease Burlesque Festival happens at the Victoria Conference Centre in “Victoria BC, Canada”

Where does my application fee go?
The application fee is $10 CAD, we collect an application fee so we can pay our adjudicators an honorarium for their time and expertise!
Do I qualify for the free application period?
We have a free application period from August 31 – September 6. The free application period is for anyone who exists within a marginalized community. This includes but is not limited to performers of colour, Indigenous performers, large bodied performers, performers with disabilities, neurodivergent performers, performers belonging to the 2SLGBTQQIAAP+ community, performers over the age of 40, and/or low-income performers, or any other intersection of marginalization.
What kinds of acts are you looking for?
Burlesque is a beautiful art form as unique, sparkly, weird, and wonderful as the humans that perform it! We are open to all variations of burlesque. However at this time we sadly can not accept acts containing fire, aerials, or large amounts of mess.
Is there a time limit?
The time limit for acts is 5:00 for solos and 6:00 for duos/group acts.
How many acts can I submit?
Each application is limited to 1 act per application.
You may submit up to a maximum of 2 solo applications and 2 group applications.
A separate form must be submitted for each act that you would like to apply with, along with the appropriate application fee amount.
