How do I get there?
The Victoria Conference Centre is accessed via Douglas street. There is a main foyer that leads into the Fairmont Empress, the theatre is accessed on the right hand side (if walking in from Douglas Street). There are wheelchair accessible ramps, as well as elevators for accessible entry to the venue.
There is paid parking on the street around the venue, the nearest parkade is on Broughton & Courtenay Street, and there are buses that frequently stop on Douglas outside the venue. Parking below the VCC has 11 accessibility designated stalls on Level one of the parkade.
What is the space like?
The Victoria Conference Centre has 77,000 square feet of meeting space, but the Isle of Tease Festival will take place in the Saanich Lecture Theatre, and the surrounding area outside the Theatre.
The VCC is a wheelchair accessible environment to ensure ease and enjoyment of all activities in and around the Centre. Washrooms have wheelchair accessible stalls and sinks, as well as automatic door openers for easy access.
There is a main foyer that leads into the Fairmont Empress, the theatre is accessed on the right hand side (if walking in from Douglas Street).
There is a foyer outside the theatre that will host local vendors. Gender neutral washrooms can also be found in this area.

What are the amenities?
Washrooms – There are gender neutral washrooms with accessible stalls located near the theatre.
Pre Show Mingling – Vendors and performers will be set up with tables in the foyer for you to browse their sparkly wares! Some vendors will have square readers to allow them to accept cashless payment.
Eating + Drinking – Bars will be set up in the foyer area selling both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be no food provided or available for purchase.
Other – There is no ATM available on site. There will be a coat check available. Complimentary earplugs and masks will be available in the foyer for visitors who need them.
